The District offers no-till equipment to landowners for a small rental fee. The corn planter and drills are no-till which means that they do not require the land to be plowed prior to planting. Seeds may be planted over top of last year's crop residue. This prevents soil erosion from happening. Applying lime and fertilizer to the ground helps create a more productive soil that yields better crops. It is recommended that prior to applying lime and fertilizer the soil should be tested.

There is a minimum usage fee on all rental equipment.  The Drum/Cone Spreader is $30.00.  All other pieces of equipment are $50.00.  A $25.00 fee will be charged if the rental equipment is returned without being cleaned and/or greased.

A rental agreement must be signed before the equipment leaves the office.
